EBN Live – Green Finance
The hugely popular EBN Live show is back and this is one not to be missed. We are delighted to report that we have teamed up with Aviva plc and EBN official partner Generation Employee Benefits, for an afternoon of panel discussions, 1-2-1 conversations, audience Q&As followed by drinks and canapes on the wonderful roof terrace.
I will be talking to a truly experienced panel of guests on the, sometimes vexed, issue of green finance exploring what money is available and how it does, or doesn’t, filter down through the markets to reach those “climate game changer” businesses that are creating innovative solutions to the crisis we face.
Who better to ask about the state of play than our superb panel?
- Aviva’s own Chief Responsible Investment Officer, Steve Waygood
- NatWest’s Head of Climate Change, James Close
- Entrepreneur and CEO of Vested Impact Kim Abbott
- Alpha 311 Founder and CEO Barry Thompson
I will also be chatting with David Schofield, Aviva’s Sustainability Director about the many programmes the business is involved in and Stan Smith from the Wildlife Trusts will be joining us to look in depth at Aviva’s support for the creation of the UK Atlantic Rain Forest.
Key takeaways for the audience will be summarised by Saffron Lovell from Aviva and Jeff Scripps from Generation – you will be amazed at the sustainability power you have in your corporate pension funds.
Hearing from sustainability experts like these is a real treat but, conscious that our members are business people, we will be looking at these topics through a distinctly commercial lens.
