After what seemed like an interminably long time away the EBN was delighted, and a little giddy, to welcome our partners, sponsors and steering group to a superb drinks evening on the roof terrace of global law firm Ashurst, in Spitalfields, London.
On a (rare) beautiful summer evening the excitement was palpable as those closest to the EBN came together to swap notes on their respective lockdowns and, more importantly, to look to the future. We are all tired of expressions like the “new normal” but the world has changed, perhaps for the better, and everyone was looking forward with optimism albeit tinged with caution.
Before the guests bolted for the outdoors and the plentiful refreshments, kindly supplied by Ashurst, they had all listened intently to the inspirational words that came from our keynote speaker Harriet Lamb, the CEO of the excellent sustainability charity Ashden as she shared some brilliant insights with EBN Founder Roger McKerlie. The EBN is really excited about collaborating with Harriet and her team on future projects.
The full version of Harriet’s Q&A with Roger is available to members with excerpts available to all on the web site (www.theebn.co.uk) but in the meantime why not meet some of our network and listen to their thoughts on the evening via this link?
